sad days

Latly I have been feeling sad about where Madison is pyhsicaly. I have new grandbabies, and I see them doing things Maddie can not, and my heart aches, wishing she were able to do the same things her cousins can. The new grandbabies are now 7 1/2 months, and 10 1/2 months and the twins are almost sitting on their own, and the other lil one is trying to walk. .. I love seeing them thrive and grow, but want to cry at the same time. .. no one knows how I feel, how I long to see my baby sit on her own! I want to hear words from that sweet child! Someday, it will come, and when it does, there will be the biggest party the world has ever seen !!!!

I will take the time to update some too today. I am making Madison blended foods, and in 1 month she had her biggest gain ever,(and its her birth weight) 1.4 lbs!!! You name it I blend it, she has had her first real thanksgiving dinner this yr, I blended candied yams, broccoli rice cassorole with ham, she did not care to much for the broccoli rice but chowed on the candied yams!

Catching up, Madison still does not gain weight very well. She is 4 yrs old and weights 21 lbs and is 34 inches tall. I am in hopes in Sept the G-tube will come out. This past march Madison had her first sezuire since being with us, and since then has had 4 more. On July 26th she had to have an emergancy surgury to repalce her shunt that had clogged and was not working.

Madison is in her 2nd year of PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) she does well in class, and has learned how to use a swich ( a huge button to activate diffrent toys and computer)
